Whew. These past few weeks have been a whirlwind! Projects wrapping up, new projects starting and throw TWO snow storms into the mix for good measure. Luckily, I was able to keep working through out the “snowpacolypse”.  But…I will admit to you all that I took a half day off to play in the snow with my little guy, drink a damn good bloody mary and go to my beloved Target. Anyone that lives in the South knows – we don’t do snow. This Southern girl was happy to sit by the fire and dream about 95˚ oppressive heat by the pool.

But on to more exciting things! Check out the new brand design for the super talented husband and wife team (I just love that) of NeilGT Photography! Located in beautiful Outer Banks, North Carolina – they aren’t your average “beach” photographers. For one thing, they don’t do cheesey photos. They take amazing images of weddings and couples in the gorgeous, natural environment of NC’s coast. Rustic, yet refined is how I would describe their style. They are also world travelers and have a taste for adventure – just take a look at their travel photos. So, when they came to me wanting a fresh new identity I was excited to work with them. Reoccurring themes throughout our conversations were adventure, nature and whimsy. They immediately mentioned a hot air balloon being a perfect symbol for their journey as both business owners and as a couple. Hot air balloons are such a fantastic sight, aren’t they? You don’t take a ride in one to go anywhere very fast. You ride in one to enjoy the moment, to take in the view and to experience a little magic. Paired with coast-inspired palette and texture, the final product is fun, unique and puts them in a different league professionally.
