I’ve been dreaming of the day I could finally write this post. Welcome to the new Anthem Creative Co., formerly Grit & Wit! We are still doing the same great work, just with a bit more focus and strategic brand thinking for small businesses. New services, new name, new site… whew! It has been quite a long time coming and I am so excited to reveal what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

Why “anthem’?

While the words “grit and wit” will always be our most admired qualities, the name we started with 5 + years ago just didn’t fit the growth we have experienced or the strategic branding foundation the studio has evolved to. Anthem represents more of the meaning and thoughtful approach we take to our projects – going beyond the design and digging into the story, feeling and tone of the brand on multiple levels. We want our clients to feel they have an “anthem” for their brand that they can march forward with to grow their businesses, a song they can sing about their story, and a pride in the unique visual and messaging strategy we’ve developed for them. Without an anthem, you’re blending in. With a focused direction, our clients are able to speak from a more authentic place, have confidence in their customer-facing branding and the insight to understand why it all works together.

New Services

Our menu of services has also shifted to offer several fresh ways to work with us. The most exciting new option is our Brand Blueprint package. This is a week-long brand strategy engagement that is perfect for anyone thinking about a rebrand. Over the past few years, it has become clear that this type of service is where we shine (design too, of course) and I really wasn’t showing all the work that goes into this part of our process. This is the perfect option for business owners BEFORE they invest the big bucks into a designer. It will allow you to enter that relationship with your eyes wide open to who your customers are, where they overlap and the creative direction that can help you speak directly to them. The real icing on the cake is that this service will allow you to choose the RIGHT designer for your rebrand because you’ll understand the style and direction before you even hire someone. You can make the most of your investment by letting us take the strategy reigns!

 

We are also now offering a la carte Tagline Development and Positioning Statement services! I am finally able to blend my love of writing and design together for my clients. This has been one of our most loved aspects of the branding work we do. Having solid and magnetic words to blend with your brand brings you so much power and confidence as a business owner. We are pleased to be able to offer this to you!

Of course, we always offer our Total Package Brand & Website Design services – which is all of the above, rolled into one beautifully designed package (if we do say so ourselves). WordPress, Showit, Shopify – we can help guide you to the right platform for your business and design it, too. Our signature service, we are taking limited clients for 2019 so we can focus on every little detail.

Lastly, I am happy to now offer Brand Consult calls, which you can book right from the site. This is a one hour call (you’ll have a bit of homework beforehand) where we can discuss your current pain points, where you want to take your business in the future, and you can ask me anything you’ve been wondering branding-wise. I’ll follow up with a written recommendation and a place for you to move forward from. This is a great option for those starting to do the research into a rebrand or starting a new business.

We will even customize it for you (for an added cost) if you want to let us do the dirty work. Showit has been an amazing addition to our repertoire and we are getting incredible results for our clients with this platform. Not to mention – it is a designer’s dream to use! Overall, Anthem feels like a natural evolution from Grit & Wit. It is truly a labor of love and while it was a bittersweet goodbye to my original name and brand, I can honestly say I couldn’t be more excited to see where the next 5 years takes us. Onward!
