Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted! I’ve been busy working on new brands, sites, having some family time and trying to figure out how to balance everything. I know, I know – you can’t. Since I’ve been light on the blogging, I’ve got a lot of new work just waiting to be shared! I’m looking forward to posting new brand reveals over the next few weeks.
Let’s get to it, shall we?
I’m excited to finally be able to show off the new brand design and website we just wrapped up for the Los Angeles-based floral design and event rental company, Belle Of The Ball. This was one of those projects that just flowed easily – the best kind! Working with the talented owner, Jennifer, and designing something soft and dreamy for her successful business didn’t feel like work. Like a lot of my clients, Jennifer came to me in need of something more professional. The dated theme she’d used for years wasn’t working for her anymore and she wasn’t getting the right types of clients. Her site looked amateur but her business was anything but, with a team of 10, TV appearances and a warehouse full of event rentals. Most importantly, people didn’t realize she had a rental section of Belle Of The Ball that could be viewed and reserved online! It was definitely time for an upgrade.
We focused on creating a simple, elegant brand design with an artistic flair and whimsical accents. I really wanted the color palette to compliment the photos and kept things soft and subtle. The tagline “Events dreams are made of.” spoke to the out of this world quality of the BOTB team’s work and the whimsical nature of their design style. Next, we designed and developed a completely custom site that would showcase their gorgeous florals as well as integrate their rental business seamlessly. The brand is simple and classic, but far from boring. I love the sophistication and feminine feeling of all the elements.
This was the type of project I love – a complete overhaul!
