I thought I would switch it up this time and share some recent work that was a little outside my normal style. Sometimes it’s so good to stretch your creative muscles and try something new! I had the pleasure of working with Abby, owner of Hop & Dox, an online store with the cutest…um, EVERYTHING. I loved her style and the products she sells – so bright and fresh, with a bit of a sense of humor.
We started with the name. Hop & Dox. I mean, how can you not love it? Inspired by Abby’s dachshund and pet bunny, the brand identity came together with a dash of quirkiness and just the right amount of polish. Combining the two animals into a sophisticated silhouette gives the brand a fun, yet refined look. We wanted to make sure we didn’t veer into the juvenile or get too cutesy with everything. Abby has amazing taste and her products all have a bit of a modern edge. It was important to keep the brand clean and expressive. I think this the first (and hopefully not the last) brands I’ve done with a neon palette!
I loved being able to make Abby’s vision for Hop & Dox a tangible reality. Working with talented creative people such as herself makes my job all the more rewarding. Now head on over to get your shop on! Congrats on the launch, Hop & Dox!
