This post is coming to you live from New Orleans with my King Cake in my hand! Before I head out to the parades, I thought I’d kick off this celebratory weekend with a new brand reveal. As I’ve said more than once here, I am so lucky I get to work with awesome creative business owners who are passionate about their work and their clients. Carolyn was no exception. The owner and talent behind the lens at The Boudoir Photographer in Sinagpore contacted me about a total rebrand and site design – my favorite type of project! Carolyn had been working with a logo she was “meh” about and a site that wasn’t high end enough to attract the clients she wanted. Carolyn’s services are all about helping women see themselves as beautiful, sexy and strong. After a not-so-great boudoir experience, she started The Boudoir Photographer to create the ultimate intimate photo shoot experience for women, by a woman. Set in her fantastic, romantic studio, Carolyn immediately helps her subjects feel at ease and glamorous. The main goal with Carolyn’s new branding was to appeal to clientele looking for a high-end, personal experience. We were inspired by soft, vintage-inspired lace details and wanted to focus on what makes a woman feel beautiful, rather than the typical va-va-voom super-sexy approach. The result was an elegant, feminine brand design centered around her new tagline, “Every body has a story to tell”. Make sure to read Carolyn’s About page for a little more about her story.
